TAR Lead (Turnaround Lead)

Job Purpose and Impact
The TAR Lead (Turnaround Lead) will perform the management and control of maintenance, repair and operations warehoused material within the organization, supporting shutdown and turnaround activities at a bioindustrial plant while coordinating ongoing maintenance planning and cross functional activities in line with area strategies.
Key Accountabilities
• Contribute to plan material and obsolescence management as well as maintain condition strategies to provide operational effectiveness during TARs and shutdowns.
• Support the storeroom processes associated with receiving, inventory and dispatching for both internal and external locations including peak outage periods.
• Partner with vendors and contract adherence related to maintenance repair and operations stores activities and contractor interfaces.
• Collaborate with maintenance repair and operations materials are in optimum condition for safe execution.
• Participate in integrated maintenance processes for smooth work management integration across site functions.
• Provide feedback on process and continuous improvement activities based on lessons learned.
• Support turnaround (TAR) and shutdown execution through contractor coordination, cross functional alignment, and continuous improvement inputs.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff in high risk situations.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Related work experience.
• Other minimum qualifications may apply.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Lean six sigma.
• Knowledge of safety principles and methodologies, including experience in high hazard industrial environments.
• Operations planning, safety and quality ownership.
• Experience supporting or leading major turnarounds or large plant shutdowns.
• Strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills.
