This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers, food service customers, and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Production Crew, will perform routine and repetitive physical production and warehouse responsibilities following established policies and procedures with frequent guidance. In this role, you will support production operations while following all food safety and regulatory polices as required.
Key Accountabilities
- Perform repetitive positioning of materials and parts for production per direct instructions.
- Convey materials and items within production and warehouse areas other designated areas by hand, hand truck or electric hand truck.
- Lift and stack materials, products, tools or equipment.
- Hand pack product into materials.
- Understand and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to work on a shifting schedule with advance notice
- Ability to perform physical tasks in a cold environment with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
