Job Purpose and Impact

The Financial Data & Analytics Analyst (Cost Focus) performs routine record to report activities to collect, process and present accurate financial data for the purposes of providing external information for decision making while ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards. This job collaborates with businesses and plants to complete standard operational processes and procedures, compliance and data management for financial products and services and data systems. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy of cost accounting, compliance with MEC processes, and providing comprehensive support for SAP cost modules, including COPA. The selected candidate will execute cost routines, validate allocations, support MSC and business requirements, and prepare critical profitability and cost analyses for the region.

Key Accountabilities

• •    RECORD TO REPORT ACTIVITIES: Manage and support the Costing and COPA modules in SAP, ensuring accurate execution of routines and correct processing of cost allocations. Ensure accuracy and consistency in cost accounting and compliance with MEC requirements. Extract, consolidate, and validate information from various systems and databases (including SQL). Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational risk.
  •    FOREX RISK MANAGEMENT: Assists with foreign exchange risk management for selected units, including activities related to foreign exchange exposures, foreign exchange risks, and risk management procedures and processes to ensure adherence to policies. Collaborate with global and regional teams, communicating effectively in English to resolve issues and present analysis.
  •    POLICY COMPLIANCE & CONSISTENCY: Maintains the standard operating procedures and processes, and helps monitor operational compliance with financial transaction recording standards, including company accounting policies, statutory reporting regulations and tax regulations. Document procedures and maintain up to date controls for costing and systems processes.
  •    BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP: Supports positive relationship with business partners, responding directly to deliver accurate processes. Provide support to internal users regarding SAP, data analysis, processes, and reporting.
  •    PROCESS EXECUTION IMPROVEMENT: Applies knowledge of operational practices, procedures and internal controls to identify improvement opportunities in execution to drive operational excellence and data integrity to enable analysis and insight. Develop and maintain key operational, financial, and profitability reports, including regional deliverables for MSC. Prepare critical cost analyses for the region.

Qualifications

Minimum
•    Advanced Excel level
•    Advanced Power BI level
•    Experience working with databases and SQL queries.
•    Advanced English level C1
•    Experience with data processes for enterprise resource planning (ERP JDE/SAP) system. specifically in Costing and COPA modules.

Preferred Qualifications
•    Strong knowledge of cost accounting and month end close (MEC) processes.
