Calgary, Alberta Protein Processing Plant
Calgary has a population of 1,300,000, making it Alberta's largest city and Canada's third-largest municipality. Cargill Calgary is a case-ready facility with a product portfolio that includes both beef and pork. The operation started in 2009 as a single-customer facility but has grown to serve multiple customers while still meeting our business obligations. Some of these customers include Loblaws, Walmart, Safeway, Sobeys, FreshCo, and Costco. Our strength lies in our ability to deliver a consistent and dependable retail meat experience within our industry. By doing this, we help our customers grow.
