Job Purpose and Impact

The Forklift Operator III will operate and drive industrial forklifts requiring high skills and occasional guidance. In this role, you will ensure material handling and storage procedures are followed to meet all safety and regulatory policies.

Key Accountabilities

• Operate a forklift to move irregular or bulky items such as pallets within production and warehouse areas and may load pallets into trucks.
• Operate high lift material handling equipment, such as forklift or other Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) to load and unload from high stacks and racks.
• Monitor production lines, pull loads from lines on a timely basis and perform quality checks of wrapping and labels.
• Support other production or warehouse duties by reviewing production, shipping and receiving documentation using judgement and occasional guidance to complete tasks.
• Operate other equipment such as electric or manual hand truck and scanning technology and enter records into computerized system.
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including lock in and out procedures and maintains safe and clean work environment.
