This position is in Cargill’s animal nutrition and health business, where we improve animal lives through better nutrition. Our team researches, innovates and creates solutions that deliver healthy results for our customers.
Job Purpose and Impact
The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor will design, develop, and maintain electrical automation and instrumentation control systems and components according to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.In this role, they will plan and direct the daily activities of electrical and instrumentation technicians who perform preventive maintenance and repairs in accordance with the asset management program.
Key Accountabilities
Responsible for the overall management, coordination, and evaluation of the electrical department, including instrumentation, control systems, and safety.Participate in the development of operating and capital budgets, estimating labor, material, and construction costs, and design electrical equipment, installations, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial purposes.Provide supervision and inspection during the commissioning and start-up of new equipment and systems to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and adherence to operational and safety standards.
