Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Consultant, Skills Development job creates effective and engaging AI upskilling learning experiences for a variety of audiences across the organization's workforce. This job acts both as subject matter expert and works with other subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into easily understandable and engaging learning experiences and materials to achieve measurable learning outcomes. This job uses instructional design principles, technology and multimedia tools to design and develop measurable and scalable experiences that drive performance-focused employee skill development.  

Key Accountabilities

• PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT: Designs and develops complex learning experiences for the organization that align with learning objectives and target audience needs, including resources, learning objectives creation, instructional strategies, assessments and evaluation methods.
• PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION: Implements and facilitates learning and development design strategies, methodologies, tools, approaches, and processes with a prime focus on AI upskilling.
• PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION: Supports the administration of learning and development design programs, ensuring alignment with learning objectives, use of multimedia content, and effectiveness of quality assurance checks to enhance the overall learning experience.
• LEARNING EXPERIENCE DEVELOPMENT: Applies instructional design principles and methodologies to create engaging and interactive learning experiences and analyzes learning needs, identifies appropriate instructional strategies, and organizes content in a structured and logical manner.
• STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Collaborates with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to gather content, review materials, and ensure accuracy and alignment with learning objectives.
• PROGRAM ANALYSIS: Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of learning solutions through assessments, feedback and metrics, partnering with the related team and continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the learning experience bringing best practices, industry trends and user feedback into future design iterations.
• VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Partners with key vendors and stakeholders to stay updated on the latest learning technologies, tools and methodologies, and identifies opportunities to integrate them into instructional design and delivery, including learning management systems, authoring tools and other technology platforms to create and deliver content.

Qualifications

Minimum Qaulifications

• Minimum requirement of 4 years of relevant work experience in instructional design, learning development, or a related field. Typically reflects 5 years or more of relevant experience.
• Experience designing digital or blended learning solutions. 
• Interest and proven experience working with AI. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in AI upskilling and developing or delivering AI-focused learning programs.
• Experience designing learning programs for audiences across multiple functions or regions.
• Experience using learning metrics to evaluate and improve program effectiveness.
• Experience partnering with subject matter experts to translate technical content into accessible learning materials.

Additional Information

The expected salary for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance. At Cargill we put people first.
