This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Trade Execution Coordinator will own the end-to-end execution of international bulk commodity vessel shipments including customs and export documentation and completing monetary transactions in a timely manner. In this role, you will ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled accurately and efficiently in accordance with the import requirements



Key Accountabilities

•    Review and interpret contract terms, manage all aspects of trade execution including vessel nominations, shipping instructions, and documentary requirements; identify, communicate, and mitigate operational, contractual, financial, and regulatory risks throughout the trade lifecycle.
•    Develop and cultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, medium accounts, customers, clients, suppliers and other business partners.
•    Work with external authorities to verify and comply with all customs requirements.
•    Ensure compliance with the home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
•    Prepare, review, approve and maintain files for import and export documents in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
•    Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Agriculture
  • Experience in Supply Chain
