Job Purpose and Impact

The Maintenance Planner I, will plan and schedule maintenance on plant assets and equipment with frequent guidance. In this role, you will use knowledge and practice of consistent maintenance and reliability best practice to maximize machine uptime.

Key Accountabilities

• Learn the maintenance of processing and packaging equipment to ensure maximum uptime and provide consistent maintenance and reliability best practices in the completion of planning and prioritizing tasks.
• Document and prepare detailed job plans under direction from others.
• Initiate the procurement of materials, special tools and unique items required in the job plans with direction.
• Follow directions to update capital improvement projects from project stage to operations and update information in the database to reflect the improvement, addition or deletion of equipment and their associated spare parts and maintenance procedures.
• Send communications cross functionally with technical and management teams to minimize production impact and improve reliability, under direct guidance.
• Follow processes to maintain custom databases and computerized maintenance management system to support specific work projects and processes.
• Solve basic issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff and engage in continuous improvement planning to enhance on time performance of technical activities.
