Project Intern - Data and Analytics
Job Purpose and Impact
The Project Intern – Data and Analytics will develop skills and capabilities to support business projects aligned with organizational strategies and performance goals. In this role, you will assist in analyzing data and building insightful Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision making.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to real business challenges, enterprise data, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders across functions such as Supply Chain and Finance. Through on-the-job learning, you will build the knowledge and capabilities needed to support performance tracking, reporting, and analysis initiatives that help improve business effectiveness.
Depending on business needs, this role may support projects in areas such as operations, supply chain, or finance.
Key Accountabilities
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Clean, transform, and model data using Power Query, SQL, and DAX.
- Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Support performance reporting and monitoring of key business metrics.
- Participate in structured learning programs to build skills required for the role.
- Assist with hands-on analytical work related to business processes, models, and improvement initiatives.
- Help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and decision-making through data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and present insights clearly.
- Support analytical and reporting activities under guidance.
- Handle basic issues under direct supervision and escalate more complex matters as appropriate.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline, with coursework in data analysis, databases, or data visualization.
- Other minimum requirements may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Have applied data skills to build meaningful reports or dashboards that help others understand trends or patterns
- Are comfortable working with structured datasets and preparing data for analysis
- Have explored ways to calculate or track key metrics through coursework or projects
- Enjoy using SQL to explore data and answer questions, even while continuing to build advanced skills
- Have participated in academic, personal, or internship projects involving data analysis or reporting
- Show curiosity about why the data looks the way it does and what insights it can provide
- Are familiar with Excel or similar tools for organizing and analyzing data
- Demonstrate a learning mindset, openness to feedback, and interest in growing analytics skills
