Job Summary
The Senior Director, Process Enablement job owns the execution and development of strategies aimed at enhancing overall organizational performance and customer satisfaction. This job provides strategic direction to streamline operations, reduce waste, and optimize workflows. This job offers vision and guidance to ensure the adoption and integration of business process management standards, educates on and promotes the application of improvement principles, and increases consistency, process management maturity, and the standardization, harmonization, and simplification of processes for value creation, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Essential Functions
- BUSINESS PROCESS MANAGEMENT STANDARDS APPLICATION: Directs and guides effective application of business process management frameworks and methodologies across the organization, incorporating feedback to continuously improve business process management practices.
- PROCESS MAPPING & MODELING: Establishes expectations for information gathering, interviews, workshops, and the design of detailed process models and documentation in compliance with relevant standards.
- PROCESS IMPROVEMENT: Directs and champions the team in leverage Lean Six Sigma methodologies to review and challenge existing processes, guiding process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and value, and reduce waste.
- PROCESS ASSESSMENTS & DATA ANALYSIS: Directs the team in using data insights and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to review processes, identify improvement opportunities, and apply advanced analysis tools.
- DESIGN SOLUTIONS & WORKSHOPS FACILITATION: Guides and cultivates the team to enhance competencies, raising standards and quality of design solutions and workshop facilitation.
- TECHNOLOGIES ADOPTION: Directs and nurtures the adoption of new technologies and automation tools that promote process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
- WORK INTAKE & PRIORITIZATION: Leads the design and continuous optimization of the work in-take and prioritization framework ensuring strategic alignment with business leadership objectives.
- STAKEHOLDER COLLABORATION: Fosters cross functional collaboration to ensure clear action plans and integrate new practices, while guiding a community of practice for continuous improvement across the organization.
- TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization’s goals by allocating resources, ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 8 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 12 years or more of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualification: Lean Six Sigma training and Black Belt attainment.
Information for Minnesota Based Applicants
The expected salary for this position is $173,000-250,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
