Job Purpose and Impact
The Plant Services Sourcing Buyer will support multiple business sourcing activities for North America. In this role, you will execute complex procurement in tasks in alignment with business requirements and in cooperation with the North America category team.
Key Accountabilities
- Execute medium and highly complex sourcing events, including but not limited to RFx activities, analysis, contract negotiations, supplier relationship management and market research.
- Drive the implementation of regional sourcing decisions and provide support with the implementation of global sourcing decisions.
- Provide inputs to the North America category team for category strategy development and execution.
- Build and apply comprehensive understanding of regional stakeholder and procurement landscape.
- Monitor continuous regional supplier and stakeholder relationships.
- Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of materials, and services.
- Collaborate with a cross-funtional team in support of sourcing activitites, including but not limited to technical/scope definition, legal and commercial review, document control, and adherence to Cargill to Cargill standards for safety, quality and supplier performance management.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Confirmed financial, modeling and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior sourcing, procurement, and/or supplier relationship management experience
- Experience in project management, maintenance, facilities or construction services
- Market research and benchmarking experience
Job Information
The expected salary for this position is $75k - 90k Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
