Job Purpose and Impact
The Driver will transport goods, materials and products across the country and between sites to ensure the delivery to the customer or plants is completed accurately and timely with frequent guidance. In this role, you will ensure the safe and efficient transportation, loading, unloading and distribution of goods, materials and products according to the defined schedule to support continuous and effective delivery while following all related policies and procedures.
Key Accountabilities
- Timely and efficiently transport goods, materials, products or equipment over the road and across the country to final destination under direct guidance.
- Conduct visual inspection and technical condition of the transport vehicle and complete basic maintenance as required with direction.
- Assist with and support the loading, unloading and distribution of goods, materials and equipment from the transport vehicle to the customer or recipient according to the schedule.
- Ensure goods are unloaded in accordance with the required documentation, obtain appropriate confirmations and signatures from recipients and validate quantities loaded and unloaded following required documents with frequent guidance.
- Help ensuring driver logs and settlement of documentation are complete and updated after every delivery and required documents are completed regularly throughout the shift.
- Ensure collection of empty containers as needed.
- Ensure all food safety procedures and practices are followed.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing or similar field
- High school diploma
- A valid driving license including forklift
