Job Purpose and Impact

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk III will ensure inbound and outbound shipments are handled properly with an in depth understanding of warehouse processes and procedures working under occasional guidance. In this role, you will complete activities involved with the receipt and documentation of the shipment and receipt of goods and ensure documentation and record keeping is accurate.

Key Accountabilities

• Review and complete shipping and receiving documentation, enter information into computerized systems, support others in resolving issues through use of knowledge of processes and procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts and may support reporting or reconciliation.
• Stabilize trucks with chocks and may oversee the loading and unloading vehicles.
• Interact regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement spanning the full range of facility operations with authority to make moderate changes, as defined by management.
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures including equipment lock ins and outs and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
