Principal Accountabilities 

  • Serve as champion for food safety
  • Conduct pre-operational inspections and collaborate with USDA personnel to ensure regulatory readiness
  • Perform routine product monitoring, including fat analysis, shear testing, temperature verification, and moisture checks
  • Execute cook attribute evaluations and conduct sensory assessments to verify product quality
  • Administer and document test and hold procedures, and release procedures in alignment with FSQR protocols
  • Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, good housekeeping practices, and plant policies by all stakeholders
  • Accurately enter, track, and mantain quality data within digital systems
  • Perform basic preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on FSQR laboratory and testing equipment
  • Apply strong decision making and problem-solving skills to resolve quality concerns and escalate issues when necessary
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and related technology to analyze, report, and communicate quality findings
  • Maintain mobility throughout the facility, includint standing, walking, and performing testing for extended periods
  • Lift and carry up to 60 lbs of product, or boxes with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Willing to train team members on FSQR procedures and methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English


Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in manufacturing environment (70 for scoring weight)
  • Previous food safety or quality experience (30 for scoring weight)
