Job Purpose and Impact

The Data&Analytics Visualization Analyst will design and develop data products that provide data-driven insights to help business leaders make better decisions. You will act as a partner with internal stakeholders and technical staff and will develop an in-depth understanding of the business, their key questions and available data to answer these. You will develop subject matter expertise in key data domains and combine this with technical, innovative data visualization skills, and will have a critical role in executing a business technology-driven strategy that delivers data visualization, reporting and analytics solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identify and analyze business needs, gather requirements and define the scope and objectives to drive business
  • decisions.
  • Prepare data and explore new potential data to support reporting and analysis initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and analysis to identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets for values and new opportunities.
  • Lead analysis in collaboration with process and operations leadership to identify the top opportunities for improvement and track progress and impact on future results.
  • Mentor and coach peers and recommend process improvements related to delivery and new methodologies.
  • Partner with the team to develop a detailed understanding of the business and offer mentorship or technical
  • solutions to identify business problems.
  • You will work under minimal supervision and independently handle complex issues while referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of four years of related work experience (including Power BI).

• Other minimum qualifications may apply.

Preferred Qualifications

 • Certification in a programming language or business intelligence tools.

• Extensive experience working with the Power BI environment, including advanced visualizations, DAX, premium capacity, workspace and application management, deployment pipeline management.

• Experience with underlying (semantic) data models, and underlying data flows, lineage and tools (e.g. the MS Power Platform, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint).

• Confirmed skills querying relational databases with query language (SQL).

• Confirmed experience working with large data stores.

• Familiarity with analytics, AI/ML, data science.
