Finance Operation Lead Credit to Cash
Job Purpose and Impact
The Finance Operation Lead Credit to Cash will be responsible to develop the strategy for the daily operations of the designated end to end finance processes and provide strategic input for the organizational, operational and stakeholder model for the shared services. In this role, you will build and maintain strong business relationships with key finance and business partners focused on process maturity to meet organizational goals and expectations.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership and technical direction for designated finance operations teams to assist to develop and define a vision and strategy for operational excellence within the finance operations organization.
- Identify and implement consolidation opportunities, process simplification, standardization and improvement aligning with the finance operations strategy in partnership with global process leaders to develop key metric measurements benchmarked against industry best practices.
- Identify and execute internal control systems to ensure effective and efficient operations and compliance with laws, regulations and corporate policies.
- Build strong partnerships with business and senior finance leaders by representing the global finance operations organization in regional or global leadership business meetings to create transparency, resolve critical escalations and plan improvement projects on key initiatives.
- Build the team capabilities in alignment with the finance transformation road map and provide coaching and change leadership across the team within the defined areas.
- Other duties as assigned
- Provide strategic leadership, development and talent management activities for direct reports and their organizations, which may include forecasting resource needs, recruiting, hiring, performance management, training and budgeting. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of eight years of related work experience, five years of supervisory experience
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
- Minimum of 10 years of Finance Credit to Cash expertise working in a shared services/outsourcing set-up
- Experience developing the strategy, plans and processes to effectively deliver operational excellence on key accounting activities
- Strong experience in working on centralized processes, transformation projects and process optimization
- Experience managing large change initiatives with direct and indirect influence at multiple levels of the organization
- Expertise in leading global teams
