A Typical Work Day May Include:

  • Adhere to all safety requirements & good manufacturing practices (GMP) 

  • Operation, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repair of related equipment

  • Perform quality checks, interpret data and record data manually and via computer

  • Primary duties include operating all production equipment, scaler, roof bolter, drill, LHD, powder and clean up.  Completing pre-operation check of equipment, housekeeping duties, production reports of progress, miner equipment maintenance and other assignments as directed

What You Will Need:

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility

  • Must be able to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)

  • High school degree or GED Equivalent

  • Basic Computer skills

  • Must be able and willing to perform with or without reasonable accommodation: working underground (up to 1800 feet), which involves bending, kneeling, climbing, crawling, twisting, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds

  • Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment

  • Able to work overtime, holidays, nights, weekends and different shifts with advance notice

  • Must be able to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include working underground (up to 1800 feet), heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) which may include a harness in some circumstances

  • Routine background check and Alcohol Tobacco and Firearm (ATF) "Explosives Possessor" background check: To ensure a safe working environment for all employees, we will conduct a criminal background check.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Prior experience in production related work

  • Previous mining experience

  • Ability to perform lubrication, servicing and minor maintenance for equipment related to the classification
