Principal Accountabilities

  • Assist in development/design of various projects 
  • Utilize mill, lathe, welder, shear, and break
  • Perform various welding applications
  • Operate tool and die equipment
  • Heavy machinery moving/placement
  • Utilize various forms of rigging and lift equipment
  • Spec and quote parts
  • Work with vendors to obtain necessary quotes, parts, and materials
  • Direct contractors as necessary on projects
  • Occasional travel for other facility assistance

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship 
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to read and write in the prevalent language of technical literature utilized at the facility
  • Must be able to work independently and direct others as necessary
  • Must have extensive knowledge of hand and power tools
  • Must have simple math skills, which includes fractions and algebra
  • Must have experience with fabricating equipment such as mill, lathe, shear
  • Must be able to pass a weld test
  • Must be proficient in Sanitary pipe welding 
  • Must have a certification in Sanitary pipe welding or the ability to obtain a certification with in 18months 
  • Able to participate in facility HAZMAT membership, at minimum supporting role
  • High school diploma, preferred some college 
  • Have a state issued operator driver license and able to meet Cargill’s Safe Driving Program requirements
