Principal Accountabilities
- Assist in development/design of various projects
- Utilize mill, lathe, welder, shear, and break
- Perform various welding applications
- Operate tool and die equipment
- Heavy machinery moving/placement
- Utilize various forms of rigging and lift equipment
- Spec and quote parts
- Work with vendors to obtain necessary quotes, parts, and materials
- Direct contractors as necessary on projects
- Occasional travel for other facility assistance
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read and write in the prevalent language of technical literature utilized at the facility
- Must be able to work independently and direct others as necessary
- Must have extensive knowledge of hand and power tools
- Must have simple math skills, which includes fractions and algebra
- Must have experience with fabricating equipment such as mill, lathe, shear
- Must be able to pass a weld test
- Must be proficient in Sanitary pipe welding
- Must have a certification in Sanitary pipe welding or the ability to obtain a certification with in 18months
- Able to participate in facility HAZMAT membership, at minimum supporting role
- High school diploma, preferred some college
- Have a state issued operator driver license and able to meet Cargill’s Safe Driving Program requirements
