Risk Investors Group Regional Lead

Job Purpose and Impact
The Risk Investors Group Regional Lead will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of experienced Risk Investors professionals to develop new complex investor relationships and maintain those relationships to ensure the successful distribution of trade finance, commodity finance, project finance, and other types of corporate lending, capital markets, and sovereign transactions generated by Cargill Trade and Capital Markets Origination team in North America, Latin America, and Brazil. In this role, you will develop and deepen relationships with selected investors in the region with a focus on developing new innovative ideas and new product strategies, proactively consulting with geographic leaders of the assigned region.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead the team to develop new and foster existing portfolio of selected investor relationships (ideally less than 5, non-key accounts), ensuring successful distribution of trades and assets among these investors, and working with these investors to obtain deep insights into their investment criteria to further enhance investor relationships, including travelling to visit them.
- Partner with commercial teams in Trade and Capital Markets commercial teams in North America, LATAM and Brazil to explore commercial opportunities, ensuring in-depth discussion on structures to enable successful transactions and deliver growth while prudently managing risks.
- Provide underwriting support for the region to execute deals and decide on allocation to ensure the business optimizes investor capacity and asset allocation across geographies.
- Leverage market insight to develop new and enhance existing products to meet investor requirements or open new investor capacity.
- Run key operational processes for Risk Investors team in the region such as Product Approval Form review and Credit Committee participation.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching, and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, massive online course equivalent or equivalent experience,
- Proven experience and advanced knowledge of trade finance or banking market and products
- Confirmed experience of financial markets risk mitigation tools used widely in the industry
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum three years of people management experience
- Track record, established over minimum 8 years of trade finance (including working with UCP 600) or banking market and product knowledge with substantial experience in financial transaction distribution
- Track record of having developed successful commercial relationships with senior level clients including institutional investors
- Spanish language fluency
- Familiarity with North and Latin America and Brazil financial markets and business environment
- Highly numerate, ability to understand and analyze corporate and financial institution financial statements and experience to understand complex financial products and transactions
- Highly self-motivated, with strong personal organizational skills who works independently with reduced supervision from the Risk Investors Group Global Head
- Willingness to constantly innovate and learn new products and skills and to drive change when needed
- Ability to express, understand and discuss complex concepts with fluency, in spoken and written English
