This position is in our Ag & Trading enterprise, where we connect producers and users of grains and oilseeds around the globe through origination, trading, processing, and distribution. We also offer a range of farmer services and risk management solutions. 

Job Purpose and Impact

The Customer Service Representative (Trade Execution) supports customer service operations for a site-based team. In this role, you will help manage shipping and returns activities, process customer orders, and support the resolution of order and delivery inquiries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to help deliver a high standard of customer service and operational excellence.

Key Accountabilities

  • Maintain systems and data that support customer demand forecasting, shipment tracking, inventory management, and related business processes.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, clients, and other business partners.
  • Provide customers with information regarding order status, invoices, contract balances, and other details required to support order fulfillment.
  • Execute customer service processes and contribute to positive customer experiences.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and projects by applying customer service best practices and established procedures.
  • Address routine customer service inquiries and operational issues, escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, order management, logistics, supply chain, sales support, or a related area
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Advanced English language skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to engage with customers and suppliers to clarify information, resolve discrepancies, and support smooth operations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SAP or a similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
