Job Purpose and Impact

The Key Account Manager will help build and maintain customer relationship with strategic accounts that typically involve major global accounts or local large accounts.

In this role, you will help us identify and contact prospective customers, build relationships to manage the account efficiently like maintaining existing business, generating future sales and repeat business, contribute to assessing customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Managing sales of varied products (Oils & Fats, Sweetener Starches & Specialty Food Ing., Cocoa & Chocolate)
  • Understanding of clients Brands/Business and building account relationships beyond the buying level – gaining a thorough knowledge of customers business and operating procedures
  • Developing strategy for the account, collaborate with team and lead the account to deliver the strategy.
  • Managing existing business and driving growth in the FIBI business through customer focus, agility & superior customer experience
  • Efficient project management skills & Innovation led approach
  • Good understanding of market segments & product knowledge
  • Sound Commercial Acumen
  • Create demand for our products and services
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
  • Participate in regular status and strategy meetings with Key people of all levels at customer to understand and meet their needs. To build strong connect with customers relevant top management team as well to drive business interests.
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8-12 years of related work experience preferably from B2B background
