Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform assigned Lead accountabilities, provide support to others and resolve complex issues or troubleshooting
  • Move, receive and ship product or materials per written and computerized materials, record transactions into computerized systems and provide support to others under occasional guidance
  • Gather, weigh, prepare and verify packaging documentation against shipment records and checks for damages generally following standard procedures using judgement in more complex issues
  • Gather, weigh, prepare, verify and documents items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method, including recording received and shipped items, following standard procedures using judgement in more complex issues
  • Ensure safe storage of product in the warehouse, minimizing damage, utilizing in-depth understanding to perform required duties and assist others
  • Operate equipment and machines such as hand trucks, forklift, high-lift mobile equipment, palletizer, stretch-film wrapper, labeler or conveyors in order to stack or wrap materials to move materials, store product and prepare product for shipment
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintains a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (32ºF to -35ºF)
  • Ability to handle  meat products
  • Ability to work flexible hours (come in early, stay late and work Saturdays/Sundays as needed)
  • Experience using Excel

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous warehousing experience
  • 2 years shipping/receiving experience
  • Work history in the past 12 months
