Principal Accountabilities
- Perform assigned Lead accountabilities, provide support to others and resolve complex issues or troubleshooting
- Move, receive and ship product or materials per written and computerized materials, record transactions into computerized systems and provide support to others under occasional guidance
- Gather, weigh, prepare and verify packaging documentation against shipment records and checks for damages generally following standard procedures using judgement in more complex issues
- Gather, weigh, prepare, verify and documents items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method, including recording received and shipped items, following standard procedures using judgement in more complex issues
- Ensure safe storage of product in the warehouse, minimizing damage, utilizing in-depth understanding to perform required duties and assist others
- Operate equipment and machines such as hand trucks, forklift, high-lift mobile equipment, palletizer, stretch-film wrapper, labeler or conveyors in order to stack or wrap materials to move materials, store product and prepare product for shipment
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to work in a cold environment (32ºF to -35ºF)
- Ability to handle meat products
- Ability to work flexible hours (come in early, stay late and work Saturdays/Sundays as needed)
- Experience using Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehousing experience
- 2 years shipping/receiving experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
