AHC - Veterinary Sales Advisor
Job Purpose and Impact
The AHC - Veterinary Sales Advisor (VSA) will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in Hubli, Karnataka. The role will be responsible for face-to- face promotion and sales of Animal healthcare products to Veterinary doctors and practitioners. He/She must build relationships with Veterinary doctors, pharmacists, and other veterinary healthcare providers, ensuring they are informed about the latest products and advancements. He/She also achieve sales targets, provide product information, and gather market feedback.
Key Accountabilities
- Presenting the features, benefits, and scientific data of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to generate future sales and repeat business.
- Meeting or exceeding sales targets for the assigned territory.
- Maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products, including their usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
- Gathering and reporting market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer needs.
- Keeping accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduation in any discipline (Science background preferred).
- Years of experience: 3-6.
- Other minimum qualifications may apply.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full time MBA (sales or marketing).
- At least 3 years of experience in handling sales for Hubli in the dairy health sector.
- Must be fluent in Kannada.
- Strong relationships with veterinary doctors in the assigned region.
- Proven experience in new customer acquisition and territory expansion.
- Excellent communication skills.
