Job Purpose and Impact

The AHC - Veterinary Sales Advisor (VSA) will be aligned to Cargill's Animal Nutrition and Health business in Hubli, Karnataka. The role will be responsible for face-to- face promotion and sales of Animal healthcare products to Veterinary doctors and practitioners. He/She must build relationships with Veterinary doctors, pharmacists, and other veterinary healthcare providers, ensuring they are informed about the latest products and advancements. He/She also achieve sales targets, provide product information, and gather market feedback.

Key Accountabilities

  • Presenting the features, benefits, and scientific data of pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to generate future sales and repeat business.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the company's products, including their usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
  • Gathering and reporting market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer needs.
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduation in any discipline (Science background preferred).
  • Years of experience: 3-6.
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full time MBA (sales or marketing).
  • At least 3 years of experience in handling sales for Hubli in the dairy health sector.
  • Must be fluent in Kannada.
  • Strong relationships with veterinary doctors in the assigned region.
  • Proven experience in new customer acquisition and territory expansion.
  • Excellent communication skills.
