Job Purpose and Impact

Location: Hull (HU6 7PH) - Full time, permanent Monday-Friday days based role.

We are looking to appoint a Reliability focused Maintenance Engineer based in our Hull Plant. The purpose of the role to proactively and safely maximise plant reliability whilst ensuring equipment capability and efficiency, by deploying Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques. You will have the opportunity to embed Cargill Maintenance Excellence techniques through close collaboration with all technical and plant operational colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

•    Lead Reliability Centred Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine equipment functionality, capability, probability of asset failure and provide mitigation strategies 
•    Support in asset criticality assessments of existing and new assets to prevent repeat failures 
•    Collaborate with the maintenance team to provide guidance on maintenance repairs and production to update on estimated down time 
•    Work in collaboration with Cargill Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice maintenance techniques and technologies are embedded 

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering in place of a degree (HNC/HND) or equivalent qualification and
demonstrated relevant experience 
•    Able to work safely and embed a strong safety culture 
•    Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies and analytics 
•    Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
•    Ability to identify and resolve the Root Causes of Asset failure  

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience from a heavy industrial processing background (e.g. Chemicals, Biofuels, Food/Feed
