Associate Lawyer
Job Purpose and Impact
The Associate Lawyer will handle legal affairs that have more complex business issues. In this role, you will review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts and administer legal affairs with routine business issues. This professional will also work with the cases within corporate and labour law, with regulatory, licenses and permits.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure that contracts comply with legal, regulatory and organization policies.
- Assess commercial risk of contracts and prepare regulatory filings, forms and applications for routine matters.
- Legal research and analysis for day to day legal work.
- Analyze issues to identify legal problems and preparing memoranda and initial drafts of legal documents.
- Being responsible for records management.
- Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience
- Full working proficiency in English (Advanced level is preferred)
