Job Purpose and Impact

The Build Project Engineer will supervise and execute the overall technical engineering and design of build projects that are operationally efficient. In this role, you will lead a team that executes routine complex activities with a focus on the conceptual, basic and detailed engineering design over a project lifetime.

Key Accountabilities

  • Implement and develop area design packages in compliance with regulatory codes, area standards and specific technology needs.
  • Select, lead and direct the external service providers to support project objectives.
  • Oversee the development of the area estimate to track progress against estimate.
  • Coordinate input from area disciplines and subject matter authorities to ensure the design meets the specific needs of the business.
  • Lead the activities for other partners that are supporting the development of the project design.
  • Partner with regional and global leadership to identify work process enhancements.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or any related course
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience as a build project engineer
  • Willing to travel and be assigned to different locations in the Philippines or outside the country during the build project phase
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory experience
  • Experience leading third party resources to deliver business results
  • Knowledge of environmental health and safety standards and international standards and codes related to build projects and construction safety
