Job Purpose and Impact

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner will execute and deliver processes for three Cocoa Chocolate plants in North America focused on people and culture strategy, implementation of solutions to improve performance and engagement, workforce plans, learning programs and talent activities. The Senior HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy of the plant(s) strategic plans, and the external environment. In this role, you will provide support to key stakeholders and analyze metrics at plant locations in Milwaukee, WI and Ontario, Canada. This role will reside in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with key leaders on the execution of moderately complex local people and culture plans for Cocoa Chocolate plant locations.
  • Support the identification and implementation of solutions to improve performance, engagement, recruiting, and retention to increase productivity and mitigate people risks for the plant while also building an inclusive culture.
  • Lead and deploy workforce plans, learning programs, talent acquisition activities, and other talent programs and projects at the location.
  • Communicate and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion policies and practices in plant locations.
  • Leverage multiple reports and dashboards to measure and analyze human resources and business performance metrics at plant locations.
  • Respond to employee and manager inquiries, triage everyday grievances or workforce matters, support leave management, medical/religious accommodations, and manage on-site audits.
  • Independently solve issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel to other plant locations as needed up to 15%
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry
  • Experience working with labor unions and contract negotiations strongly preferred
