Engagement Office Lead - NA
Job Purpose and Impact
The role of the Engagement Office Lead initially is the stand up and operationalize the Digital Technology & Data Engagement Office. The purpose of the Engagement Office, and its processes and governance, are to enable a more consistent and planful DT&T organization, based on the principles of transparency, shared consciousness, and prioritization. The Engagement Office will accomplish this through alignment to DTD LT members to drive and mature consistent process, portfolio management and project prioritization, qualified demand, Application Portfolio Management, Efficiency Pipeline and Planning Calendar for the teams they support and across DTD.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide vision for the Engagement Office and people leadership to the Portfolio Advisors
- Lead the development of the portfolio of projects that will be targeted to meet the strategic goals and value targets of the corporate and business strategy.
- Align stakeholders across the function including development of a strategic program approach within each program or portfolio area. Drive consistent process and outcomes across the Engagement Office and eliminating nonvalue add work.
- Promote strong business and customer partnerships to ultimately influence strategic and systemic changes, bridge technology gaps and set organization goals as well as governance around process improvement and leading practices within the related business groups and functions.
- Define and monitor portfolio and project performance metrics and goals as well as overall business impact of projects within the portfolio and programs and identify variances to plan and corrective actions as appropriate.
- Develop knowledge of emerging developments and improvements within the industry and incorporate into the design requirements to ensure process designs maintain the capability to deliver the products or service to meet the market requirements and internal or external risk and cost tolerances.
- Confirm successful completion of project implementations and provides verification of sustainment processes and work practices by location and region to maintain the value created from the projects in the portfolio.
- Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Experience with program and process methodologies
- Proficiency with relevant office software for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations
- Confirmed success in developing, implementing and leading strategic initiatives and a portfolio of project plans
- Minimum of six years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven leader of people managing through high levels of ambiguity
- Confirmed experience with agile team delivery and concepts
- Experience driving strategic results
- Experience with financial concepts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confirmed skills regarding influence, persuasion, digital and technology acumen, and organizational change strength
- Experience with portfolio management
