This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business. We sit at the heart of the supply chain, partnering with farmers and customers to source, make and deliver essential products.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Processing Training and Knowledge Management Lead supports the continuous improvement of procedures and training content aligned with the business segment strategic goals. The role involves connecting sites with existing standards, assisting in localization, and partnering with plants to close operator standard work gaps. The individual will provide AKMS (Accelerator Knowledge Management System) technical support, develop local capabilities, and ensure visibility of gaps against strategic initiatives and program progress.

Additionally, the role includes developing and deploying standardized training programs in collaboration with the Capability Enablement team, partnering with various stakeholders to address common gaps, and supporting both greenfield and brownfield projects. The position also involves collaborating with global MSC resources on capability development and knowledge management, exploring and adopting technology and AI to enhance content development, and leading the New Development Leadership Program for Oilseeds Processing. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Support continuous upkeep of procedures and training content based on user feedback by coaching plant owners. 
  • Deployment of procedures and training programs aligned to strategic goals, connecting sites with existing standards and assisting in localization to those standards and partnering with plants to close operator standard work gaps 
  • AKMS  (Accelerator Knowledge Management System) technical support and development of capabilities within the local teams  
  • Lead the New Development Leadership Program for Oilseeds Processing, overseeing the program and facilitating virtual and in-person training sessions  
  • Development and deployment of structured standardized training programs by persona in partnership with Capability Enablement.  
  • Partnership with MTL, RCC, M&R, and Plant Ops to develop wide solutions to common failures. 
  • Greenfield and brownfield project support for training and procedures. 
  • Partnering with global MSC resources on strategic approach to capability development and KM 
  • Explore and adopt technology and AI to optimize content development and enhance user experience in the plants 
  • Foster the alignment of  local and regional stakeholders including Operations, EHS, FSQR and Engineering and Reliability , building strong partnerships to align on timelines, priorities and expected outcomes. 
  • Asses organization readiness and implement process improvement in the knowledge management and training areas.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to translate highly technical information across all levels of technical knowledge
  • Knowledge of Oilseeds Processing Crush and Biodiesel technologies
  • Influencing skills and complex stakeholder management
  • Understanding of training techniques adjusted to various audiences

The expected salary for this position is $95,000-162,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
