Important Information

This position is fully remote with 50% travel but southeast based candidates are highly preferred as the position will be supporting 2 locations in that region.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Reliability Planner will support Animal Nutrition locations in the Southeast region. You will provide advanced knowledge and technical expertise to deploy continuous improvement in process and asset reliability through the elimination of defects. You will optimize the availability and productivity of our manufacturing facilities and equipment, perform engineering review, coordinate repair work and participate in the commissioning and installation of new equipment and provide guidance to a team that provides technical knowledge to deliver the optimization of equipment maintenance and technical aspects of reliability engineering strategies.

Key Accountabilities

  • Deploy complex reliability excellence activities and identify and prioritize reliability engineering value creation opportunities.
  • Ensure the implementation of the strategic development of asset reliability centered maintenance applications.
  • Perform technical reviews of complex projects and collaborate with related areas on new equipment reliability specifications.
  • Execute the identification and elimination of bad actors and the optimization of equipment availability.
  • Participate in the development, design and installation of predictive maintenance programs and technology applications to identify and eliminate defects.
  • Oversee the specific lubrication program to ensure refinement.
  • Partner with and provide guidance to maintenance repairs and production in reliability related processes and the identification of critical spares.
  • Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Experience in the application of reliability tools
  • Experience in maintenance process management
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory experience in industrial maintenance roles
  • Training in predictive maintenance technologies
  • Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar maintenance reliability technical certification
  • Pet food manufacturing experience

Applicant Information

This position is fully remote with 50% of travel requirement within 2 locations in the southeast region

The expected salary for this position is $95k- 110k. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
