Process Technician II
Job Purpose and Impact
The Process Operator II will operate, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot complex issues for a series of machines and equipment with interactions of several process inputs to produce product with an in depth understanding of policies and procedures and occasional guidance, providing support to others. In this role, you will maximize throughput and produce quality product while following all food safety and regulatory polices.

Compensation: $20.00/hr

Key Accountabilities
- Operating equipment and technology tools throughout the facility which will Include operating all of the following: Short Mix Micro Hand Additives, Production Ingredient Mixers, Pellet Mills, Grinders, Packaging Equipment, Truck Weighing Scales, Palletizers
- Collecting product samples and supervising tank levels, utilizing computer systems to input and record data as necessary
- Running required testing for quality checks on inbound ingredients and outbound products
- Utilizing computer systems for operating automation of production operations
- Manufacturing products to ensure that they meet specifications
- Scheduling, sequencing, and manufacturing products to meet all quality standards before delivering to customers
- Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork-focused environment
- Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Intermediate computer skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
What Will Put You Ahead:
- High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining various mechanical components and systems
- Prior experience in production-related work
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as SAP
