Credit Specialist
Job Purpose and Impact
The Credit Specialist will perform complex credit risk management activities in a region. In this role, you will act as the point of contact between the function and various enterprises who will collaborate with the team to deploy global and regional projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Review credit proposals to guarantee accurate decision making by leaders in accordance to guidelines, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor counterparties and anticipate the potential impact of market events on the business environment.
- Maintain close communication with the shared services operation for appropriate implementation of risk mitigation.
- Ensure accurate reporting of exposures within approved limits.
- Monitor and implement continuous improvement practices in existing processes and methodologies.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience as a Credit Specialist
- Willing to be based in BGC, Taguig
- Other minimum qualifications may apply
