This position is in Cargill’s food and bioindustrial business, where manufacturers, retailers, and foodservice companies rely on us to consistently deliver the products and services they need, and use our technical expertise and market knowledge to develop innovative products.
Job Purpose and Impact
Location: Wormer (Netherlands), Schiphol (Netherlands) or Mouscron (Belgium) are preferred. We may consider applications elsewhere in Netherlands/ Belgium on a hybrid basis with regular travel to either Wormer/ Mouscron as well as customer locations.
As a Senior Technical Account Manager specializing in the Snacks, Cereals and Beverage category, you will serve as a trusted Senior Technical Account Manager to our Global and Regional customers — Ranging from large Multinationals to dynamic mid-sized innovators.
You will be the primary point of contact, building deep customer relationships by understanding their needs and translating them into impactful solutions.
In this strategic role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Commercial, Applications, Food Safety, Quality & Regulatory (FSQR), Process & Product Development teams to deliver tailored technical support and drive customer success. Your insights and connectivity will be key to unlocking growth opportunities, co-developing innovations, and ensuring our customers receive best-in-class service and solutions to deliver 'win-win' solutions for Cargill & our customers.
Key Accountabilities
• Provide onsite technical support for current customers and prospects across the Snacks, Cereals and Beverage categories
• Provide customer solutions and technical support materials to Global and Regional (Europe) customers
• Compile and analyze data for project updates, working with external suppliers to test new products, technologies to make recommendations on applications
• Organize project data and conclusions for internal and customer presentations, assist with product demonstrations and service as subject matter guide during meetings with prospective customers as well as established customers
• Stay ahead of trends to provide product insight to improve Cargill's offerings to customers
• Keep customer data up to date in internal Cargill systems
• Provide customer solutions and technical support materials to specific customers through innovation days, customer engagement sessions and other customer events
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject (for example Food Science) and demonstrated relevant experience in a Technical Account / R&D position in the Food and or Beverage sector - Ideally with medium and large customers
- Fluent in English - Dutch/ French in addition or German - Preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for understanding, creating, and communicating value and solutions to team members and customers
- Prior experience in cocoa and chocolate products is highly valued
- Experience with beverage-related applications as well as expertise in emulsification and encapsulation technologies would be a strong asset
