Compensation: $28.00/hr or up, depending on experience

Principal Accountabilities:
- Troubleshoots machinery and automation failures as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, case erector, filler, palletizer, conveyors, motor control devices, such as magnetic starters, control panels, PLC’s
- Input sensing devices, such as limit switches, photo sensors, level sensors, etc.; other output devices, such as solenoid valves, indicators, alarms, etc.
- Assist in the design and installation of new or upgraded equipment and machinery, such as conduit, wiring, power distribution, machine controls, machine automation, motors, counters, lighting, heat tracing, etc.
- Design, implement and modify PLC logic programming and handle technical documents
- Operate packaging machinery (Filler, blow molder, labeler, case packer and etc.) and/or warehouse equipment(ASRS crane, conveyors, trolleys)
- Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures)
- Ability to read and interpret schematics
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility.
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience and/or electrical knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience
- High School diploma or Equivalent
- Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with an emphasis on Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of inventory systems
- Working understanding of: servos, steppers, camera, solenoid and pneumatic systems, robotics, cam and linkage systems, PLC/PC and communications, drives, motors and various forms of automation instrumentation and devices
- Able to repair, test, rework and calibrate pneumatic, mechanical and electrical assemblies, equipment and systems
