Compensation: $24.00/hr

Principal Accountabilities

  • Operation and Maintenance: Overseeing the daily operations of wastewater treatment facilities, including monitoring equipment, adjusting controls, and performing routine maintenanc
  • Sampling and Testing: Collecting and analyzing water and wastewater samples to ensure compliance with environmental regulation
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and test results
  • Compliance: Ensuring that all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including the Clean Water Act
  • ​​​​​​​Safety: Following safety protocols to protect oneself and others from hazards associated with wastewater treatment processes
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving operational issues to maintain efficient plant performance

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Valid driver’s license • Ability to drive a full size truck/ shuttle trailer
  • Ability to use all hand tools, tape measures, and understand tool sizes/ Fractions
  • At least 1 year of Wastewater Operator experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Waste Water experience
  • Previous Cargill experience
  • Work history in the past 12 months
  • Mechanical experience of some kind
