Process Operator Lead

Principal Accountabilities:
- Perform ongoing assigned lead activities, including providing to support to team, in addition to performing operator roles
- Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader)
- Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance and complete repair work while coordinating with maintenance work and other teams to ensure a smooth and stable operating process
- Use hand and power tools perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot complex machine issues and support other operators in troubleshooting and providing guidance
- Monitor equipment, operate control panels, process samples, adjust machine processes using selectivity and complex decision making and utilize computer systems to input and record data and support others
- Responsible for process testing, bulk commodities, and process testing for finished products
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
- Be 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above to 160 feet in the air)
- Ability to operating mobile equipment such as a forklift
- Have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
Preferred Qualifications:
- A high school dipolma or GED equivalent
- Computer experience being able to enter and retrieve data
- Computer working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with emphasis on Excel and Word
