Principal Accountabilities:

  • Perform ongoing assigned lead activities, including providing to support to team, in addition to performing operator roles
  • Operate mobile powered equipment (i.e. forklift, skid loader, sit down floor sweeper, front end loader)
  • Inspect buildings, grounds and equipment utilized by the facility to troubleshoot, perform light maintenance and complete repair work while coordinating with maintenance work and other teams to ensure a smooth and stable operating process
  • Use hand and power tools perform preventative and autonomous maintenance, troubleshoot complex machine issues and support other operators in troubleshooting and providing guidance
  • Monitor equipment, operate control panels, process samples, adjust machine processes using selectivity and complex decision making and utilize computer systems to input and record data and support others
  • Responsible for process testing, bulk commodities, and process testing for finished products
  • Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Eligible to work in the United States without a visa sponsorship
  • Be 18 years or older
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above to 160 feet in the air)
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Proven Management/Leadership experience for at least 6 months
  • Ability to learn how to operate mobile equipment


Preferred Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Computer experience being able to enter and retrieve data
  • Computer working knowledge of Microsoft office software, with emphasis on Excel and Word
