Principal Accountabilities

  • Must be able to rotate all positions: Grinder Operator, Gravy, Mix injection, Brine, Tumbler and Spice Room. Set up machines, weigh, grinding, chopper, mixing, scales and to drive a jack. Set up and tear down equipment.
  • Cross-trained within department as needed. 
  • Responsible for completion of paperwork and other miscellaneous duties. 
  • Also requires lifting, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and recording weights from scales. 
  • Ability to operate the IPFS system. 
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks. 
  • Work on the production line as needed.
  • Ability to read and comprehend meat inventories and formulas for product. 
  • Ability to read specs.
  • Must be able to rotate within the department and other departments.
  • Complete SSOP paperwork daily.

Qualifications


Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs

  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or shifts

  • Accuracy, precision, and dependability are a necessity.

  • Must be a self-starter and have good communication skills. 

  • Must be a team player, but also must be able to work well alone.

  • Must have good basic math and reading skills



Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous production/farm experience

  • Previous Cargill experience

  • Previous leadership experience

  • Work history in the past 12 months
