Job Purpose and Impact
The Ethics and Compliance Specialist II is an integral part of the Ethics and Compliance team and will participate in daily activities of Cargill’s whistleblowing hotline including: data entry, case triage, and data governance. This role will also assist with investigations, document review, policy and process management, and other compliance related projects and activities. In this role, you will apply general knowledge and experience to investigate allegations of unethical activity and develop safeguards to eliminate future breaches.
Key Accountabilities
• Document policies and procedures related to the ethical standards established by the business.
• Contribute in developing employee communication and training programs that focus on the elements of a company wide compliance program.
• Help monitor the organization's standards of conduct and ethical relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, employees and communities.
• Continue to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Advanced English level
• Business/Industry work experience
• Strong attention to detail
• A commitment to the highest level of personal integrity and demonstrated comfort level with having access to sensitive data
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and apply strong strategic thinking/problem solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, SharePoint, and other tools
• Microsoft Excel, the use of pivot tables, and other tools to perform data analysis
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced or Intermediate Spanish level
• ACFE or similar certification for audit/fraud prevention
• Law or Compliance background
• Technical experience with the performing document reviews, audits, and investigations.
