Cargill, Incorporated seeks a full-time Group Strategy Leader located in Wayzata, MN. The Group Strategy Leader partners with the Cargill Agricultural Supply Chain North America (CASCNA) Group Leader and other senior business and functional leaders across Cargill, including the CASCNA Group Leadership Team, to develop high impact regional, business, and function strategies.

This position requires

  • a Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field and eight (8) years related experience leading corporate strategy projects.
  • Must also have 36 months of experience (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following:
    • (1) developing and maintaining intelligence of external trends and providing connectivity across businesses and functions with the organization to identify current and future opportunities and threats;
    • (2) providing thought leadership and counsel to the Executive Team, Group Leader, and multiple senior business leaders on future decarbonization opportunities and creating consensus for strategic recommendations;
    • (3) coaching business and function leaders to apply strategic frameworks to analyze opportunities, develop solutions, synthesize environmental data, stakeholder analysis, and market force data as part of the financial and business analysis necessary to develop insights and solutions to support strategic business decisions;
    • (4) navigating a wide variety of senior stakeholders, such as C-Level executives, Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors, to build organizational alignment for market/business strategy projects; and
    • (5) preparing executive-level communication (visual and verbal presentations) materials to support strategy discussions with the Board of Directors, Executive Team, Group Leader, and multiple senior business leaders.
  • Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Master’s program.
  • All experience may have been gained concurrently.
  • Position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time.
