Plant Manager
Job Purpose and Impact
As Plant Manager, you will provide strategic operational oversight for all production and operating process for the Wooster, OH Cargill Animal Nutrition and Health plant. In this role, you will oversee safety, quality, operational effectiveness and financial performance – including building culture and structure to support team management, process control & improvement, and continuous improvement.
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee all operations and processes, ensuring teams are following policies and procedures related to employee, feed safety and environmental compliance.
- Accountable for all internal and external operating and regulatory procedures on employee, food and feed safety including strategic and tactical execution in alignment with corporate environment, health and safety and food safety, quality and regulatory functions as well as government regulations.
- Lead a team culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and reliability excellence. Set and deploy operational strategies for the plant enforcing common reliability processes and metrics to achieve targeted results from continuous improvement. Ensure ongoing review of key performance indicators with focus on site operational targets.
- Lead strategic and tactical operations and quality management deliverables to ensure customer, product and quality standard requirements are met within specifications.
- Lead, directs and controls capital and operating budgets to achieve financial performance objectives set by the business.
- Ensure and hold direct reports accountable for meeting and controlling operating expenses and established targets.
- Oversee the overall operational management and implement operational efficiency improvements which may include standardization of plant information manufacturing systems, quality control, safety, production reliability excellence and maintenance and operator’s best practices.
- Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR in lieu of a degree, previous related experience
- Minimum of four years of related work experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
- Previous supervisory experience
