Diamond V- Regional Sales Manager - Midwest (ND, SD) 1
Job Purpose and Impact
The Regional Sales Manager - Midwest US (ND, SD) -Diamond V - Ruminants with the Diamond V ruminant and dairy business will, with guidance, sell directly to the consumer or business purchaser or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will conduct face to face and remote sales with new and existing customers, assist in evaluating customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions.
This will be a home office role but needs to reside in Midwest US area (North Dakota and South Dakota). Up to 60% travel is required to cover the area of responsibility.
Diamond V’s natural immune support postbiotic feed additives help optimize animal health, animal performance, and preharvest food safety. We provide expert, experienced, technical support to our customers to help keep their animals healthy and grow their businesses. Based on 80 years of research and development, Diamond V continues to explore and innovate in postbiotic and microbial fermentation science and technology.
Key Accountabilities
- Help identify potential customers and handle existing customer relationships.
- With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales, and merchandising activities.
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
- Protect, grow, and diversify the relationship with targeted customers.
- Support business growth by disseminating favorable information about the organization and its products and services.
- Responsible for achieving sales goals and maintaining expense budget.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience
- Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales, business development or related field.
- Experience with technical sales, able to provide technical support to dairy farms, nutritionist, and veterinarians
- Experience in the dairy industry or ruminant nutrition, animal nutrition
- Able and willing to travel up to 60%
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of sales experience
- Sales experience in animal nutrition, feed, animal health, additives, supplements
Applicant Information
The expected salary for this position is $100,000 - $140,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
