Job Purpose and Impact
The Supplier Quality Management and Audit Category Specialist supports the team in executing safety and quality risk management activities across materials, suppliers, external manufacturing facilities, and routine services essential to the safe production of products. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external partners to address foundational quality and product‑safety issues, reduce operational risks, respond to customer and stakeholder requirements, and contribute to product safety audits.
Please note that this is a 9‑month position. In addition, the role can be performed from any European country where Cargill operates.
Key Accountabilities
- Support new location and material setup, along with entering completed supplier or material qualifications into the defined supplier database.
- Assist the team with relationship‑management activities, including tracking key performance indicators and maintaining required supplier documentation and information.
- Collaborate on supplier incidents by gathering data to support investigations of standard incidents or complaints, and assist with conducting root cause analysis for key incidents.
- Participate in supplier, external manufacturer, internal product safety, and company facility audit activities to ensure corrective action plans are established to meet quality and product‑safety requirements.
- Work closely with the team to support the completion of supplier, external manufacturer, and material evaluations, ensuring the use of approved suppliers who meet requirements and complete necessary product‑safety improvements.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, escalating more complex issues to the appropriate staff.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of product regulation
- Experience in product safety, quality and auditing systems
- Ability to support regulatory activities, including internal and third‑party audits
- Experience verifying compliance with internal and external quality and product standards
- Accountability in meeting commitments
- Ability to interpret complex or conflicting information to solve problems
- Knowledge of efficient processes with a focus on continuous improvement
