Job Purpose and Impact
The CapEx Associate Buyer Analyst will manage full-cycle sourcing activities in addition to data management and analytics, record-keeping and communications for the North American Capital Excellence sourcing team. This role will actively contribute to the build and execution plans of Cargill’s ongoing capital project strategy. In this role you will support North American sourcing for Capital Construction project activities. You will coordinate and execute low to medium complex procurement requirements to provide inputs to the category team. Key Accountabilities
- Support a team of professional procurement sourcers on the Construction/ Capital Procurement team and manage the sourcing of services for construction projects.
- Manage procurement processes for team members. Activities such as: publishing bids, drafting and creating Ariba events, tracking and recording all clarifications of bid events, upload all data for workload management tracking.
- Lead data capture initiatives ensuring data is recorded in appropriate systems for the team to utilize analytics.
- Maintain team documents and systems for project management, training, and internal SharePoint sites.
- Negotiate low-complexity sourcing packages or contract terms.
- Drive implementation of local sourcing decisions and support local implementation of regional sourcing decisions.
- Build and apply a comprehensive understanding of local, stakeholder and procurement market trends.
- Follow established procedures to select suppliers for procurement of services.
- Administer transactions associated with obtaining goods and services.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electronic sourcing tools used in the sourcing project lifecycle
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with or knowledge of Ariba or other electronic sourcing tools
- Experience with or knowledge of Power BI or other metric-tracking software
- Experience with or knowledge of Clarizen or other Project management tracking tools
Compensation Data
The expected salary for this position is $47,000- $79,000. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
