Compensation: $23.90 - $24.90/hr

Principal Accountabilities

• Deliver and assist with the development of safety training as assigned per Cargill and Occupational Safety and Health Administer (OSHA) requirements through conducting training and track overall completion

• Track worksite analysis, pre and post worksite evaluation of ergonomic improvements to reduce ergonomic and other risk factors

•  Review, evaluate, safety incidents and drive accountability of closure on items

•  Spend majority of shift on the floor supporting training, onboarding, and departmental safety presence

•  Review employee documentation and support trainers with compliance and performance needs

•  Track leading indicators to reduce injuries, identify trends and potential actions for annual Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) plans

•  Ensure completion and accuracy of monthly plant inspections and assist supervisors to document and close safety related items identified during the inspections

•  Champion the behavioral based safety process and ensure that the program is robust and effectively used                                                                        

•  Other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English
  • Basic Computer Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Cargill or Food Production Experience
  • Previous work history in the past 12 months
  • Previous Lead, Trainer, or Safety experience
