Job Purpose and Impact

The Product or Category Marketing Specialist I, will help execute marketing activities for the assigned product or category. In this role, you will apply basic knowledge of the business, market, customer drivers and product or category offerings to inform customer driven marketing initiatives that accomplish business and financial goals.

Key Accountabilities

• Help execute the marketing annual plans for the assigned product or category, incorporating brands and customer segments as relevant and in alignment with broader business objectives.
• Help execute comprehensive product or category specific promotional programs, campaigns and other marketing activations in alignment with budgets and relevant competitive, customer and market dynamics.
• Understand customer needs, competitor intelligence, market trends and consumer behaviors to support marketing execution for the product or category.
• Participate in initiatives related to innovation, new product development, customer solutions or product commercialization as relevant.
• Support new products, services or solutions launches for the assigned product or category.
• Help improve customer experience for the assigned product or category and support the development of differentiated customer value propositions.
• Help deliver marketing trainings, events and collateral on the product or category.
• Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned
